The Role

As the Senior Manager of Demand Generation at TaskRay, you will spearhead our efforts to grow the top of our sales funnel and manage pipeline development for new and existing customers. This role includes overseeing both our in-house team and a network of digital marketing contractors and creatives, focusing on driving revenue through strategic and tactical demand generation. This position reports directly into the Vice President of Marketing. 

You will directly manage sales development roles and gradually build out the team, with responsibilities including:

  • Developing and executing strategies to enhance our pipeline and drive customer retention and expansion
  • Managing a mix of in-house and external resources for inbound and outbound marketing efforts
  • Leveraging data to drive decisions and measure performance across various marketing channels
  • Collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering and other departments to align demand generation efforts with company goals

What you’ll do:

  • SEO & Website Management: Implement strategies to improve organic search visibility and optimize website performance; both front end user experience and back end technical maintenance.
  • Conversion Optimization: Continually enhance conversion rates across all TaskRay digital experiences including; website, AppExchange, 3rd party review sites, and other digital marketing campaigns.
  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Execute targeted campaigns to engage key accounts to directly influence outbound pipeline generation.
  • Content Marketing: Oversee the planning, creation and distribution of TaskRay’s content that builds awareness of TaskRay, market related thought leadership, and influences lead generation.
  • Channel Marketing: Collaborate with Sales leadership, channel partners, and TaskRay’s alliances team to co-create marketing campaigns and programs that expand our market presence within the Salesforce community.
  • Internal Enablement: Manage joint efforts with Sales and Customer Success to create market facing collateral, sales presentations, and go to market assets.
  • Marketing Automation: Oversee marketing automation efforts by implementing and maintaining nurture campaigns for both prospects and customers in the TaskRay database.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Manage analytics and communications by establishing performance goals, creating reports and dashboards, and routinely sharing insights on program effectiveness with the team.

What you bring to the table:

  • 7+ years of experience in Demand Generation Marketing, preferably in a B2B SaaS 
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams and building out demand generation functions
  • Proven track record of developing and scaling effective marketing programs and campaigns
  • Deep understanding of modern demand generation practices and marketing channels
  • Strong strategic and tactical skills, with a hands-on approach to driving outcomes
  • Ability to lead and manage teams, working closely with other departments to deliver on shared business objectives 
  • Strong working knowledge of managing budgets, resource management, and ability to negotiate terms with contractors and vendor resources 
  • Experience with marketing automation, SDR automation, buyer intent, and website optimization softwares, 
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM: Salesforce Independent Software Vendor (ISV) channel experience is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

Cash compensation for this role is commensurate with experience. Estimated salary range is between $115,000-$130,000 per year. This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance targets.

Location

This position is hybrid (Colorado only).

While TaskRay has a physical office in the Denver area, we’ve always been proud of our hybrid approach to the work environment, even pre-pandemic.
